I've been tracking them for days now, as they move through my territory. Normally only bandits enter these parts of the woods, so I would pick them off one by one, tormenting them. But these are no bandits, but wanderers, adventures you may say. There were six of them, three human , a wood elf, a dragonborn and a Khajiit. Never seen a Khajiit before but I have read about them. This one seems different to others shorter and possibly more cat like than the ones in the books. I'm not very fond of cats; they are sly beasts I will have to keep my eye on him. Then again his fur would look good as my door mat.
Putting those thoughts aside; I stay crouched in the shades few meters away from them. They are quite an interesting bunch. The paladin in particular seems to stand out in this group, blonde hair, green eyes, tall, muscular, the exact opposite of the rest of this group, what possible reason could he have to be travelling with them? I'd warrant that white armour there in the corner was his too before he was stripped of it. Then there is the woman, dark skinned, bright teal eyes; I'd guess she was one of the inhabitants of the far Western desert. She seems too calm considering the situation, as if she knows something's about to happen that would give her an advantage. There's a dragonborn in the group too. Curious creatures, like a fusion of dragon and man. This one seems to be panicking a little, an unusual trait for one blessed with the heart of a dragon. There's a wood elf there too, taller than most at about 5 or 6 feet tall, it's a bit hard to tell at this distance. If I look closely I think I can also see a toad tied up next to him and the elf is talking to it. It must be a familiar meaning that this elf is quite clearly some sort of wizard. The other two, the monk and the Khajiit are a little hard to see from my position but they seem to be talking to each other quite calmly, in fact they seem to be having a bit of a good time right now. The monk is clad in no more than a robe with some iron weights attached to the bottom and the cat is naked. I guess he had nothing on underneath his armour; at least it's not like seeing a human in the nude.
A few days come and go and I'm still tracking them keeping my distance, I am quite surprised that I have gotten away with this for a while. I'm a few days travel from home but I don't mind, being in the forest is where I belong. All of a sudden the woman stops and stares in my direction, freezing instantly in case I was caught I hear a rustle near me as some bandits approach them.
"Hello their friends" the leader spoke. Surprisingly the group did not attack but only stared questionably at them. "What do you want?" the woman asks with a cold bitterness in her voice. "Why simply to have a drink of course, we have been travelling a long way and were planning to rest, care to join us?" the group shoot each other with nervous looks. Most surely they cannot be thinking of accepting, how stupid can they be? "Sure, you may join us here and we shall share a drink" says the paladin. Ha! Biggest mistake yet, I could jump in and warn them..but where would the fun of that be. So I find the nearest tree and sit back and relax waiting for the sleeping potion to kick in.
As I suspected they were gathered together laughing and joking, surprisingly even the woman had something to drink. That's when it happened one by one they drop to the floor, falling asleep. The paladin looks around bewildered, finally realising what is happening, he gets up when his legs buckle under him. I take notice that there are 15 bandits, they start dragging the bodies against the tree, tying them with rope, one of them casts some sort of spell on the rope, I guess this is to make it stronger. I continue to wait silently in the tree for my moment.
A few hours pass as I stayed perched in tree, they start to wake up, they wait for the paladin to speak, but he says nothing just staring, thinking of what to do. "Well aren't you a bright bunch ey?, now we have your stuff, by the looks of it some good stuff, now then we plan on keeping you hostage and ransom to Queen Artemis".
I decide this is where I step in; I silently jump from the tree and creep up behind the first bandit. The cat sees me, his eyes widening, in one quick move I place my hand on his mouth and the other on his hand, I twist my hands sharply breaking his neck and laying his body on the ground. The cat is still looking at me with fear, I wink at him and move back into the shades. Moving to the next bandit who seems to be in world of his own, I come up behind him, draw my knife from my belt and silently but quickly silt his throat. I hear someone behind and I turn around and draw my axe out, bringing it to my face to protect me. The bandit draws out his sword, making the first moving swinging close to my head I duck, brining my axe up to block the attack. The bandit calls out, more appear in front of me, I move backwards blocking the attacks with my axe, while dealing my own damage. Moving backwards into the clearing, the group notice me, with wide eyes they just stare. The paladin calls out, warning me about the arrow, in time looking at the arrow it stops in midair I focus on the arrow bending it to my will I fly it back straight into the bandits eye, he calls out in pain while fumbling around trying to get the arrow out. They all look bewildered as I have shown my secrete power. Focusing on the ground it starts to rupture underneath the bandits, cracking the earth. As they were distracted, I brought my axe up and struck into the head of the nearest bandit, his blood screaming cries rings in my ears. They move forward more violently know, I'm blocking off the attacks but there is too many of them, circling me backing me into the corner. I have nowhere to go.
That's when I feel it, a massive build up of power inside of me. Stronger then I have felt, my psionic powers kick in, I lock eyes with the leader of the bandits. Raising my eyebrows daring him to challenge me, he makes the first move. Running towards me, his axe raised I throw my arms out and let this immense power go. It seems time has slowed down; looking around the skin from my enemies flesh are being ripped away revealing muscle and bone. Time speeds up, the wind is getting faster I let the power go completely my enemies are being ripped apart by my shear power. Letting out a battle cry the wind stops, the bandits are laying dead in front of me; the ground has been torn up exposing the earth below. I start to feel faint my legs buckle under me; I collapse to the floor and see them looking bewildered at what I have done. Then the world is black.
