One dark and misty Halloween night the moon shined brightly in the sky, illuminating the ghostly graveyard below. You could hear nothing but the gentle whistle of the wind, rustling the leaves against the grave stones. Some of the grave stones are hundred upon hundred years old, there is a different kind of atmosphere here, the air feels different almost magical. Many people don’t visit this cemetery, they say its haunted, they say every Halloween night the ghosts come out to play, the ghosts who never die, who can never go into the beyond.
Well we sure do come out and play, Halloween is the only night we are able to enjoy ours
This is a hard time for the human race, being wiped out by mindless creatures. We call them Zombies, they were once people like you and I but once the infection gets a hold of you there is no escape, no cure. You start to lose control, memories vanish, humanity gone. All they care about is feeding and infecting anything they can, see they are able to smell you, your scent, blood and fear from miles away if they are paying attention, meaning you think you are safe and then in the distance you see them a horde, they won't leave you alone till either your dead or they have lost you. You recognise a zombie straight away, where they have been bitt
I woke up on a cold metal table, I’m wearing nothing but a sheet of cloth which barley does it job, my red head curling around my shoulders. I must of passed out before, it wouldn't of been for the first time. That’s when I hear it, that unmistakable sound of the machine turning on, Oh God please not again.
They have injected me with some kind of drug which stops me from using my pscionic powers; it somehow turns off the chromosome which causes it. I lye helplessly on the table unable to move, pain is the only thing which is keeping me alive.
And then it begins.
My body spasms, my back arches, I can feel the pain endlessly craw
It’s amazing how I can find such beauty still alive in this world. It looks well fed and its coat is healthy and glossy, it’s a shame that I am so hungry. I take an arrow from out the quiver, lining it up with my bow I take one last look at the beauty before me and fire. The arrow shoots straight through its eye, a quick painless death, something so hard to come by these days. I sling the bow back over my shoulder and whistle; I almost didn't hear her sneaking up on me. My companion, my friend, Wind she is a wolf...I've always had a way with animals.
I guess everyone is coming together ever since the “plague” came. Ab
This is where I belong, right here in the middle of the battle field, on the front line. Behind me I have an army of soldiers ready to risk their lives for Earth today. I also have small groups of magical beings, who will help me crush the demons back to their own damn universe.
The demons have crossed through the tunnel to our universe; we must drive them back and destroy the tunnel. I look to the soldiers they know they are going to die I can see it in their eyes, weapons, rockets; bullets can’t hurt these demons only magic can destroy them. Were standing on a hill looking down upon the village, the demons scuttling about everywhere
The day in the forest was coming to an end.
The light dimmed and dark clouds loomed on the horizon.
Through the trees two dark shapes moved.
It was two Bumblebears, Beebee and her mother.
Beebee was young and had never been in the forest before.
She made sure to stay close to mother who knew her way around very well.
“This way Beebee. You don’t want to get lost in the forest.” Her mother said assuredly.
Beebee does her best to stay close, that is, until she sees something out the corner of her eye.
Beebee wanders off from her mother, trying to see what she noticed more clearly.
She snuffles through the dirt and claws throu
Leaving the cave I come out onto a beach, the moon is high lighting the way. I see candles lit along the beach, guiding anyone who ventures out this far. I step onto the soft sand and head to the first candle, the waves crashing against the rocks, those bloody gulls calling, just calling but for what? Me perhaps, leading me somewhere. I reach the first candle my feet sink into the soft wet sand, I notice a flicker underneath the candle a reflection of a woman in the water is reaching out to me, wide eyed and screaming for help, I turn around and run, the water splashing under my heavy footing.
I head towards the next candle, looking up at th
